As a Free Zone Authority, IHC can issue licenses to:

FOR UNITED NATIONS AND EQUIVALENT AGENCIES

If you are a U.N. Agency or equivalent,

1. Please fill in the Application Form (see section A).

2. Print out the Application Form, sign it and courier it together with all required documents to IHC, Registration Department, P.O. Box 506030, Dubai, UAE.

Documents required:
  • Application Form, completed and signed as indicated.
  • Summary of the agency, its activities and future plans.
  • Passport copy of the branch's appointed Manager.
  • Understanding agreement signed between the agency and the UAE government.
IHC Registration Department will get in touch with applicants on successful receipt of their application, for further processing and legal document requirements.

For nonprofit organisations:
The ‘humanitarian’ imperative comes first
The organisation's activities do not aim to further a political or religious standpoint
The organisation is accountable to those it seeks to assist, and those from whom it accepts resources
The organisation's major portion of funding is derived from contributions by affiliates, individuals or other non-governmental sources
The organisation follows a democratic decision making process
The organisation maintains integrity and independence

For commercial companies:

The 'humanitarian' imperative comes first
The company supports and respects internationally accepted standards of human rights
The company does not tolerate forced or compulsory labour or the use of child labour
The company does not practice discrimination of any kind against employees
The company demonstrates integrity, independence, transparency and accountability
The company undertakes initiatives to promote environmental social responsibility


Although IHC makes every effort to ensure that the IHC community abides by this code, the actions and statements made by the organisations and companies registered with IHC do not necessarily reflect its official position and IHC cannot accept responsibility for any expenses or damages that may directly or indirectly result from them.
