1.Residence Visas

In accordance with the UAE laws, IHC issues residence visas for the staff of the companies and organisations operating under its license. A medical examination including blood test and chest x-ray will be required during the visa process. On leaving the UAE permanently, your residence visa should be cancelled and a copy of the exit stamp given to the sponsor.

	Documents required for issuing a residence visa:
	- IHC Visa Application Form, printed, signed and stamped
	- 2 Passport copies with a minimum of 6 months remaining validity
	- Visa request letter from your organisation / company, stamped and signed by the authorised   signatory
	- 7 passport size photos (6x4cm)
	The documents, in original, have to be submitted to IHC's Visa Department, which will carry out the procedures.

	Fees:
	For applicants who are outside the UAE:
	- Normal: AED 1,500 (approx. $409)
	- Urgent: AED 1,700 (approx. $464)
	- For applicants who are inside the UAE either on visit visa or employed:
	- Normal: AED 2,600 (approx. $709)
	- Urgent: AED 2,800 (approx. $763)

	Refundable guarantees:
	- For companies: According to Free Zone regulations, a refundable guarantee, equalling one and a half month’s salary and the cost of airfare to the country of origin for each employee, should be deposited in cash or as a bank guarantee. - For NGOs: An 'Employment Visa Undertaking Letter' needs to be first submitted to IHC (click here to download the template).

2. Dependants’ and family members’ visas

The spouse or dependants of UAE residency holders can usually be sponsored by the resident, once he/she has sponsorship, and provided his/her salary is above AED 4,000.


3. Visit visas

IHC provides assistance with visit visa issuance for guests and visitors of its corporate members.
The visa is valid for 30 days.

Note: GCC citizens and EU and British nationals can enter the UAE without a visit visa.

	Documents required for issuing a visit visa:
	- IHC Visa Application Form, printed, signed and stamped
	- 2 Passport copies with at least 6 months of remaining validity
	- Visit Visa request letter from your organisation / company, stating reason for visit, stamped and signed by the authorized signatory
	- Medical Accidental Insurance (for NGOs only)

	Fees:
	- Normal: AED 1150 (approx. $314)
	- Urgent: AED 1250 (approx. $341)

	Refundable guarantees:
	- For companies: Certain nationalities may require a refundable guarantee deposit of AED 2,000 ($545)
	- For NGOs: A 'Visit Visa Undertaking Letter' needs to be first submitted to IHC (click here to download the template).

IHC reserves the right not to disclose the reasons for unsuccessful applications.
