Life for Relief and Development sent medicine and medical supplies donated by Medical Teams International in Tigard, Oregon valued at 6,248,991 to Mexico. One of Life’s partner organizations Another Joy Foundation arranged through Aero Union Airlines to airlift this critically needed shipment of medicines and medical supplies to Mexico City to be used in clinics serving the poor and desolate in Guerrero, Mexico.
Our partner, Another Joy Foundation, received a letter of thanks for the donation of medicines. In the letter, Angel Aguirre Rivero the Gobernador Constitucional del Estudo de Guerrero wrote “This donation would be of grand benefit for all the Guerrero population, especially on the locations considered as the most poor of the world”. The people of Guerrero are poor and in need of medicine to save lives.
Life is working on airlifting another shipment of medicines valued at nearly $22 million dollars to Mexico within the next few weeks.
